Iranian Nordic skier Elaheh Gholi-Fallah has been named as the country's flagbearer for the Winter Olympics opening ceremony.
Iran National Paralympic Committee has chosen the blind girl to carry the flag.
The country will be represented by five athletes in the prestigious event.
Elaheh Gholi-Fallah and Abolfazl Khatibi are Nordic skiers and Sedigheh Rouzbeh, Hossein Soleghani and Pouria Khalil Tash will represent Iran in snowboard.
The Iranian team will be headed by former para skier Sadegh Kalhor and Isa Saveh Shemshaki is Team Iran’s Chef de Mission.
The Paralympics will take place from March 9 to 18 in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
A total of 650 athletes from 45 countries are expected to partake in the event.
