TEHRAN – Iran’s national Paralympic Committee (NPC) expressed its deep regrets over the “extremely tragic” crash of Aseman Airline’s passenger plane, which claimed dozens of lives on Sunday.

TEHRAN – Iran’s national Paralympic Committee (NPC) expressed its deep regrets over the “extremely tragic” crash of Aseman Airline’s passenger plane, which claimed dozens of lives on Sunday.

A total of 66 people have been reportedly killed in a passenger plane crash in the Zargos mountains in Iran.

The Aseman Airlines plane, en route from Tehran to the south-western city of Yasuj, came down near the city of Semirom in Isfahan province.

Sixty passengers, two security guards, two flight attendants and the pilot and co-pilot were on board.
