International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has praised the Iranian taekwondo fighter Mehdi Pourrahnam.
Pourrahnama most recently won a gold medal in the men’s K44 under 75 kilograms category in the IWAS World Games 2017 in Portugal in December.
Pourrahnama claimed his fourth straight world crown in the event and was named the tournament’s top male fighter.
He has lost just once in the past five years, Paralympic.org wrote.
The 2017 World Championships saw a record-breaking 260 athletes from 59 countries compete, while nearly 100 more competed at the biennial International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS) World Games.

Taekwondo will be included in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Programme for the first time.
