In the F12 discus, Iranian Saman Pakbaz won the silver medal with a throw of 50.07m.

The gold went to South African Hermanus Blom with a championships record 51.16m. 

Kim Lopez Gonzalez from Spain claimed the bronze medal with 44.23m. 

Mohsen Kaedi from Iran snatched a silver medal in the F34 javelin throw with a throw of 34.88m.

Colombian Mauricio Valencia won the gold with a 35.21m throw.

The bronze medal went to Chinese thrower Yanzhang Wang (33.32m). 

Hamed Amiri won Iran’s 20th medal in the prestigious competition.

He bagged a silver medal at the F54 javelin with 27.81m.

Manolis Stefanoudakis of Greece won the gold with a championships best 29.51m to go within half a meter of the world record.

Aliaksandr Tryputs from Belarus claimed the bronze medal 27.78m.
