Iran-lose-to-Canada-in-U23-World-Wheelchair-Basketball-Championship
Iran lost to Canada 68-59 in the third day of competition at the 2017 Men’s U23 World Championship on Sunday.

Ben Moronchuk paced the Canadian attack with a game-high 38 points and 12 rebounds for a double double while Liam Hickey contributed the game’s only triple double with 14 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.

 Iran’s Mojitaba Kamali countered with 23 points and Ali Karimi Kerdabadi secured a double double with 13 points and 11 assists.

Iran started the campaign with a 72-68 win over Australia and lost to Turkey 71-53 in Day 2.

The Iranian wheelchair basketball team will face Brazil on Tuesday.

The U23 World Wheelchair Basketball Championship will take place from June 8 to 16 in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
