Zahra Nemati, Iran’s flag bearer in the Olympics and gold medalist in London 2012 and Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, sat down to discuss her plan for the future.

Approaching her 31 birthday, Zahra is experiencing the climax of her professional sport career.

Here is the interview with Zahra Nemati on her plans. “I will start exercising for the upcoming competitions after returning from the wrist injury that I picked up”, she said.

Zahra also added: “competitions in London were much easier, but in Rio I dealt with tough condition because I had to fulfill high expectation of people that made me fight to the end to carry out this very arduous task”.

Rio gold medalist pointed: “it was strenuous to defend my title despite being tired of Olympic Games, but I could make it and it was all because of my people support”.

Determined to win the titles back-to-back, Zahra Nemati talked about her future: “I aim the forthcoming 2018 Asian Para Games and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and I work harder to do better than I did in London and Rio”.

At the end she pointed to Bahman Golbarnezhad’s tragic death and hoped that nobody else experience such horrifying accidents.
