A Brazilian woman, who has named his daughter Zahra, met Iranian archer Zahra Nemati in Sambódromo in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday.
The Brazilian woman said that Zahra Nemati is his favorite athlete and she hopes that the Iranian archer win the Paralympics gold medal for the second time.
“You will win the gold medal because you have a golden heart,” the woman said.
The woman also said she has chosen Zahra’s name for his daughter since someone whispered to him to choose the name.
Soon after, she showed her daughter’s passport and said, “I brought the proof.”
The Brazilian mother then showed a towel that Zahra’s name had been written on it.
“Zahra is the most beautiful name in the world. My Zahra asked me if you can sign her shirt,” she stated.
Nemati signed an autograph on the shirt and wrote his name in Farsi.
Zahra De Lucena Froes and her mother then attended Nemati’s final match, where she defeated her Chinese rival Chunyan Wu 6-4 in the final match and seized the gold medal.
