Iranian delegation left Tehran early Saturday to participate at the 7th Fazza IPC Powerlifting World Cup.
The prestigious event will be held in Dubai, the UAE from February 15 to 19.

Hamzeh Mohammadi in 59kg, Majid Farzin in 80kg, Hamed Solhipour in 88kg, Saman Razi in 97kg, Mansour Pourmirzaei in 107kg, Ali Sadeghzadeh in 107kg and Siamand Rahman in +107kg will represent Iran in the event.
The event will bring a total of 210 participants from 42 countries together. Last year the number of countries was 25 and number of participants was 133.

The 42 countries competing at this year’s event are as follows: Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Finland, France, Georgia, Ghana, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Ivory Coast, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, the Netherlands, Oman, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Serbia , Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, UAE, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
