The prestigious event will be held in Montichiari, Italy, from 17-20 March.
The Championships provide one of the final chances for riders to impress ahead of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games in September.
“I will do my best in the 2016 Para-cycling Track World Championships. If I qualify for the 2016 Paralympic Games, I will get a better results compared to previous edition. However I will face an uphill task in Rio since the world’s best para-cyclists will compete in the event,” Golbarnezhad told Paralympic.ir.
Bahman Golbarnezhad represented Iran in Men's Individual C4-5 1km Cycling Time Trial at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, finishing18th in the event.
