Wheelchair Basketball
Iran's men's and women's wheelchair basketball teams have competed at every Asian Para Games since Incheon 2014. The men's team has won one gold and two bronze medals, while the women's team claimed bronze on its debut. Both teams have been a consistent part of Team Iran at the last three editions of the Games.

Iran has competed in boccia at every Asian Para Games since Guangzhou 2010, with squads of four to six male and female athletes representing the nation across all four editions. Para Taekwondo
Para taekwondo made its Asian Para Games debut at Hangzhou 2022, where Team Iran delivered an outstanding performance. Iran won 10 medals—three gold, four silver and three bronze—making para taekwondo one of the country's most successful sports at the Games. A squad of 10 athletes, including six women and four men, marked a strong start on the continental stage.

Shooting Para Sport has been part of Team Iran's Asian Para Games campaign since Guangzhou 2010, with athletes competing at every edition. Para Table Tennis has been part of every Asian Para Games since Guangzhou 2010. Sitting volleyball has been one of Team Iran's most successful team sports at the Asian Para Games. The women's team has also enjoyed consistent success, earning one bronze and three silver medals since making its Asian Para Games debut in Guangzhou 2010. Para Powerlifting
Para powerlifting has been a cornerstone of Team Iran's success at every Asian Para Games. Iran's men have consistently ranked among the sport's leading medal winners and record holders, collecting nine medals in Guangzhou 2010 (three gold, five silver, one bronze), eight in Incheon 2014 (four gold, four silver), 10 in Jakarta 2018 (four gold, four silver, two bronze) and 11 in Hangzhou 2022 (two gold, four silver, five bronze).
Women's para powerlifting was introduced to the Asian Para Games programme at Hangzhou 2022, where Iranian athletes made an immediate impact by winning three bronze medals.
