September 17th marks the 34th birthday of Morteza Mehrzad, Iran’s sitting volleyball player and two-time Paralympics gold medalist.
Born in 1978, Morteza Mehrzad made his first Paralympic appearance in 2016 and jumped into history books by delivering an impressive performance against Bosnia in the Rio 2016 gold medal match.
Morteza made history once again and captured his second gold with I.R. Iran sitting volleyball at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
