IR Iran Men’s Sitting Volleyball
Iran’s Men’s Sitting Volleyball Team made its debut in 1980 with some war veterans and athletes with impairment. Eight years from their first international appearance, Team Iran picked up the first Paralympic gold at Seoul 1988 and started gold medal winning streak at the Paralympics.
Ranked atop over the past three decades as the most decorated team in sitting volleyball, Iran’s star-studded team remained unrivaled during 9 Paralympic appearances with 7 gold and 2 silver medals out of 9 Paralympic appearances.
