Mohammadreza Mirzai Jaberi – Athletics

The Iranian war veteran Mohammadreza Mirzai Jaberi was born in 1965 and made his sport debut with wheelchair basketball. Few years later, he switched to athletics where he showed much promise.
This up-and-rising athlete won his first title in a national championship in 1990 and was called up to the national squad afterward. 
Mohammadreza Jaberi is one of the most decorated Iranian Paralympians with 5 Paralympic appearances. He made the roster for Team Iran at Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and won four Paralympic gold medals.
