I.R. Iran NPC President; Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa pointed to the presence of Mr. Wilfried Lemke, under United Nations Secretary-General on Sport for Development and Peace (UNSDP) in National Paralympic Day Gathering devoted to the people with different abilities.
September 2, He in his interview revealed that Mr. Lemke extended his willing to take part in the glorious sport event in Iran and voiced his intention to wear sport clothes to play with participants in the Ceremony.
"Last year, he sent us his supportive message for the gathering, but for the upcoming ceremony announced his interest to travel to Tehran. In 2013, he met IRI NPC and was informed about all the efforts have been taken for the people with impairments." Mr. Khosravi Vafa added.
"That time, Mr. Lemke in his visit in Iran satisfied as he heard Iranian people with disabilities relieved from home isolation and encouraged to be included in sport events at the society."
